Above the Arctic Circle on an isolated peninsular, the Lyngen Alps offer a dream background for those who appreciate “snowyadventures”.
Every day we will enjoy new slopes above the fjords and unfolding scenery, all bathed in the incomparable northern light. Fresh light powder leads down to a seashore lined with pretty villages and colourfully painted wooden houses.
Our base is the LANG?YSUND, an old 27m fishing boat with 8 2- berth cabins, a living area for 24, a bar and a television. She has been re-equipped for cruising in arctic waters! A real floating refuge, she sails every day to a different drop off point where all climbs begin at sea level. Sailing takes place in channels formed by the thousands of islands along the Norwegian coast and in the fjords.
We have now taken around 80 clients on this trip during April 2005, April 2006 and April and May 2007. On seven consecutive trips the unanimous conclusion was: “It was the most beautiful touring experience of our lives”.
